Hey guys, I told you that I was at a really great party last week. Well, my good friend Diztrak has uploaded a new set on his SoundCloud and you can now finally hear what I'm talking about since then :D
The boy is a genius behind the DJ booth and so is his selection of tracks, included in the set. It is pure inspiration to listen to it!

Easter?! No, Patric La Funk! :D
If happiness was a pill, I sure did take a lot of it yesterday!!!! :D
I'm just waking up after another amazing night at my beloved 3001 in Düsseldorf and I had a blast like every single time there..I can not put in words how much energy I get through the gigs there!!!
Star of the night was my favourite German DJ Patric La Funk, who now has his own night @3001 once a month along with his residency. And this party was a bit more special to me than the other ones, because it was the official pre-celebration of my birtday :D
Patric opened the night with Axwell's amazing "Heart Is King", followed by Chris Lake's "Secrets In The Dark". The song after was the sweetest coincidence ever, because it was Mark Knight's "Yalta Groove" and as I wrote last month about it, this song is decicated to my favourite home town club "Yalta" (which, by the way climbed up to #19!!!! in this year's DJ Mag 100 Clubs!!!!). So you can only imagine how it felt to hear this very special song to me live, played by Patric :)
He did play a looooooooooooot of good music, some new tracks like his colab with Inpetto "Blizzard" (coming out on Spinnin' Records 21/06) and some good known tracks like Pendulum's "The Island". I really wanted to hear his new song "Baltic" (which you had with you, Pat, don't pretend you didn't :D I SAW IT!!!! :D) but I guess, I'll have to wait until the next time.
What can I say...like always, it's soooo damn worth it to drive to Düsseldorf for Patric's gigs. I love the way he's playing, he's doing it with so much passion, it's just pure inspiration to watch him having so much fun behind the DJ booth :)
If you want to see Patric live - he is having a gig next Saturday at 3001, when he'll be doing the warm-up for Alex Metric!
Happy Easter, everyone ;)

Swedish House Mafia - "Save The World"
It is official: The new single by Swedish House Mafia is called "Save The World" and it's having its premiere tomorrow night in Pete Tong's show!!
I don't know why but it seemes to me that the Swedes like to bring out new music around my bday :D and I like it very very much. Just as a quick reminder - their first single "One" was released on the 26/04 last year.
Martin Danielle & Carl Louis - Little EP
A new single by Colonel Red, Martin Danielle & Carl Louis is out now on Size Records.
If you do remember their former hit“The Message”, you know what to expect from the Norwegian dream team. And this is a really harmonical, very optimistic, very beautiful and fresh song, which is perfect for the summer. It’s called "Little Bit” and is one of the most promising new songs for this summer.

The release on Beatport includes the original version of the song and there is a vocal version and a dub mix of the bonus track called "I'm coming home with you".

Fiesta Mexicana
Since I run this blog on my own, I don't follow any rules in particular on what should get posted or what shouldn't. I make my own decisions all the way and therefore I also try to support producers and artists, who are not so good known as others.
The only thing that matters to me is to see the potencial. And this is the case with these guys here. I went to a gig of a good friend of mine last night. He invited me to join them and to be honest, I didn't have any expectation but one - to have a great time. And in fact, I did have a great time. But what is more - I was surprised by the amazing djing skills of the guys.
In order to understand what I'm talking about, I wanna tell you something more about Mugle, Diztrak, David de Hesselle and DefJam. They are in their early twenties and are incredibly talented! And I'm not saying this just because they are friends of mine, but because it's true and I really like their style.
I don't know how many of you have thought about how cool it would be to know guys like the boys from Swedish House Mafia since the time when they weren't as popular as they are now. Well, yesterday this thought crossed my mind. Because I really think that my friends are on their best way to make a living out of gigs and producing. It's just a matter of time :)
Back on last night's gig - I loved the playlist!! It started with a great warm up program by Timo S and went on with some amazing tracks.
Just to name few of the songs on it: Avicii - ID, Nanchang Nancy,Prok & Fitch - Walk with me, TV Rock - In the Air, Martin Solveig - Hello, SHM - Miami 2 Ibiza, Steve Angello - Valodoja, Pendulum - The Island and many, many more. They also played some great mashups, which you can hear on their official SoundCloud channels.
It was so inspiring to see them playing so confident and the crowd loved it too.
All I can say is - keep up the good work, guys. Can't wait to see what's coming next from you :)

The Moment/Snus
The weather outside is getting better and better with each day passing and so is the new music, which is coming out these days.
Best example for this is the new track by Sebastien Drums and Avicii - a combination of two incredibly talented guys, who've proved to have briliant producing skills.
The song is called "Snus" and came out on Superstar Recordings on 11/04. The release includes the original mix and a remix by Green and Falkner and since they are both amazing, I just had to buy the whole release :D
Another great track came out on 06/04 on Steve Angello's label Size Records. "The Moment" by Tim Mason is exactly what you expect to hear from him - very melodical, very inspirational...in other words - very British with a small hint of Sweden, which you can find in the special bonus track on the release, edited by no other than Steve Angello himself.

Get your credit card out of the wallet guys, it's time to go beatporting ;)

Chris Lake & Nelski - Colours
A new Chris Lake track is coming out on Rising Music this Monday. It's named "Colours" and is a colab with Nelski. The result is amazing and I'm not the only one who can't wait for the release!
After his big success with "Secrets In The Dark", this is the second bomb of his new experiments with vocals and I'm glad he's not afraid of trying out new styles.
A bow for this one, Mr. Lake :)
